La Victoire, Batch 1 is a gourmet bourbon created exclusively for France. In honour of La Fayette’s maiden voyage to America, this first edition of Two Worlds Whiskey is made from eleven casks of Straight Bourbon Whiskey. These casks have been carefully selected before being blended according to a unique recipe, developed by a master blender and expressly designed for the sophisticated palate of whisk(e)y lovers in France. La Victoire, Batch 1 is composed of a complex Bourbon heart of nearly 15 years of age, balanced by a delicate and fruity Bourbon of 4 years of age and rounded by a smooth Bourbon of 5 years of age. It was blended in the United States and bottled in France at its natural strength without reduction or chill filtration. The result? A delectable 54.7% whiskey with notes of salted butter toffee, tarte tatin, custard, fresh pear, apricot, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, which not only goes down well as an after-dinner drink, but also pairs wonderfully with desserts.
